Wolkswagen Golf. The key differentiator over the current Golf is the host of new technology on offer.
All petrol engines will be FSI technology, or fuel stratified injection. This gives more power with less consumption, and is also easier on the environment.
All diesel engines will feature TDI, turbo direct injection technology, which allows much higher injection pressures, giving more power and torque. Gearbox technology has also come a long way with all models featuring either 6 speed manual, 6 speed tiptronic, or DSG Direct Shift gearboxes, with two clutches working together.

Also of note are the long list of safety features including front, side and head curtain airbags as standard on all models.
